when you throw yourself into a new city and essentially know no one (or like, 2 people) as I did here in Nashville just 3 weeks ago, the smallest acts of kindness can move emotional mountains.
all of a sudden, you don’t feel so alone and disconnected from everyone and everything...which, we never really are but it sure can feel that way sometimes.
then i saw this video this morning and was like, fuuuuuck….i’ve really got to give back!
so many people have helped and supported me in my musical and personal journeys ...(btw the band Journey was just here on friday and if someone had given me a ticket my head would have exploded with guts of gratitude).
BUT anywaaay, as I was saying....I think sometimes we are afraid to give because we feel like we never really have enough.
i’m thinkin that, maybe we always have something to give, even if it’s just like a high five or a hug.
anyways, kudos to you Big Daws
